New dates and locations have been announced for Maitland City Council’s Street Eats program.

Street Eats is being held at Walka Water Works for the first time this Sunday 21 March from midday to 3.00pm, and at Telarah Lagoon on Sunday 18 April from 11.00am to 3.00pm.

Further dates are scheduled for Wallis Creek Park in Gillieston Heights on Friday 9 April, RH Taylor Reserve in Lorn on Sunday 16 May, Bakers Brickyard in Raworth on Friday 28 May, and Whitewater Park in Chisholm on Friday 18 June.

Council’s Senior Place Activation Officer Portia Wendt says ‘we are so pleased with how well Street Eats has been received by the community and the great variety of food on offer’.

The Street Eats at Telarah Lagoon will make up part of the 100 years of Rotary Celebrations, with the Rutherford Telarah Rotary food van in attendance.

A comprehensive COVID-19 Safety Plan will be in place for all Council run events and activities.

Council will continue to monitor and adhere to the advice from the Federal and State Governments, including any variation or modification of the public health orders.

Street Eats is a Maitland City Council Place Activation initiative.
