Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival | 12–27 September 2026
The Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival is a biennial celebration of art, nature, and community held in the heart of the Wollombi Valley.
Just two hours from Sydney and 90 minutes from Newcastle, the Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival returns this September, transforming the historic valley into a vibrant destination for contemporary sculpture.
Set among heritage buildings, vineyards, bushland and village streets, visitors are invited to discover sculpture in unexpected places throughout the historic Wollombi Valley, from Wollombi to Laguna, with indoor and outdoor works presented across village sites, galleries and open-air locations.
The festival showcases leading Australian and international sculptors alongside emerging artists, with works ranging from large-scale outdoor installations to intimate indoor pieces — all available for purchase throughout the festival. Visitors can wander the sculpture trail, meet artists, enjoy local wine and food, and experience the unique blend of art, landscape and history that has made the festival one of NSW’s leading regional sculpture events.

Festival highlights include:
Outdoor sculpture trail through village and valley locations • Indoor exhibitions across historic buildings and gallery spaces
Artist talks, workshops and demonstrations
Local food, wine, live music and community events
