FRIDAY 12 – SUNDAY 28 JUNE
AT HISTORIC CHURCH STREET PRECINCT AND OLIVE STREET SCHOOL PADDOCK
The Maitland Heritage Fest is back! The festival's highlight is a free family day on Sunday, 14 June, encompassing the grounds of St Mary's Church, Grossmann and Brough Houses, Maitland CWA, and Maitland Public School's Olive Street Paddock. Visitors can discover lost trades including woodwork, leatherwork, weaving, and lacemaking, while a carriage ride, blacksmith demonstrations, antique steam machinery, and NSW State Heritage Stoneworks add to the atmosphere. Favourites returning in 2026 include Sanjex's Vintage Games, Geoff Pearce's silhouette artistry, croquet, and a Children's Treasure Hunt with great prizes. Full program details available at www.maitlandheritagefest.com.au.
