Vecina, Flotilla’s new neighbour in Wickham, will transform into a pop-up Cellar Door during Newcastle Food Month, so grab your friends and secure your spot at the coolest cellar door in Newcastle on Sunday, 7, 14, 21 and 28 April. Get ready to taste the delectable showcase of wines from Bryan Currie of Sweetwater Estate and Hungerford Hill, contemporary wines from winemakers Angus Vinden of Vinden Wine and Peta Kotz of Sabi Wabi, tasty drops from the charismatic winemaker mates Andrew Thomas of Thomas Wines and Mike De Iuliis of De Iuliis Wines, and the multi-regional wines from legendary winemakers Aaron Mercer of Mercer Wines and PJ Charteris of Charteris Wines. Rub shoulders with some of the Hunter Valley’s leading winemakers, and taste some of their best wines perfectly paired with some finger licking bites from Vecina, then dance the afternoon away with some funky tunes.
