30th Anniversary of the Lovedale Long Lunch

The beloved Lovedale Long Lunch wine and food festival is celebrating its 30th birthday in grand style next month, and you're invited to join the festivities from 18 to 19 May.

Tickets are on sale now, so start planning your progressive lunch experience across some of the Hunter Valley's finest wineries.

This two-day event sees leading local chefs team up with six boutique Lovedale wineries to offer guests fabulous food, great wines and live music in an alfresco vineyard setting. The 2024 host wineries are Allandale Wine, Emma's Cottage Vineyard, Gartelmann Wines, Saltire Estate, Sandalyn Estate and Tatler Wines.

"We're thrilled to celebrate our 30th birthday by hosting this fabulous celebration showcasing the Hunter's finest food and wine at our best boutique wineries. We've fine-tuned the formula so all you have to do is book and look forward to a special treat," said Matt Dillow, owner and chef at Gartelmann Wines and The Deck Café.

The progressive lunch sees guests visit a number of wineries, moving between them via a continuous shuttle bus from 12pm-2pm after arriving at 9:30am, 10am or 10:30am. You can also arrange private transfers or combine your long-lunch experience with other local experiences like hot air ballooning, day spas or golf.

"We've kept ticket prices at a good value because the event is about showcasing the valley's great food and wine and ensuring we're showcasing that to attendees," said Matt.

Tickets are on sale now, pricing is $115 for Saturday, $79 for Sunday, or $159 for both days (plus booking fees). Tickets are strictly limited, so don't delay securing your spot at this landmark 30th-anniversary event.
