The Lake Macquarie City Farmers Market has combined with the Glendale Artisan Markets. Situated under the undercover area adjacent to Target, the market operates every Saturday, rain, hail or shine! Where else but at a farmers’ market can you acquire homegrown produce directly from the hands of the farmer – from the very individuals who cultivated and crafted the goods? At this weekly market, patrons not only encounter the makers and farmers first-hand but can also ask about how and where the product is grown or made and how best to store or use it. The farmers tend to their crops, strategically timing their harvests to ensure the freshest and most authentically homegrown produce possible.
