Musica Viva Australia brings together Australian pianist Aura Go, Finnish-Australian cellist Timo-Veikko (Tipi) Valve and virtuoso violinist Kristian Winther for their first national tour as a trio. Having each performed extensively together in various combinations, their chemistry is already proven. The program pairs two towering works, Beethoven's "Ghost" Piano Trio and Ravel's stormy Piano Trio, with a glowing miniature by Lili Boulanger and a world premiere from Australian composer Melody Eötvös, commissioned by Musica Viva Australia for this exciting new ensemble.
