In partnership with local communities, environmental groups and businesses, EcoNetwork Port Stephens is excited to present the Sustainable Futures Festival from 10am–4pm on 11 September at St Philip’s Christian College, Salamander Bay.
The Festival will celebrate environmental innovation, sustainable living and the wonderful ways nature enriches our lives. Engage in family activities, explore the workshops and demonstrations, hear inspiring speakers and enjoy local music and tastes.
Hear NSW 2022 Australian of the Year and globally renowned inventor Professor Veena Sahajwalla discuss reimagining waste in our own communities and her ground-breaking technology in steel and ceramics.
Discover ways for communities to participate in the renewable energy transition with Dr Jarra Hicks of the not-for-profit Community Power Agency.
Explore the latest tips on wildlife and native pollinators, permaculture gardening, land care and free plants. Experience EVs – Teslas and more! Excite children with face painting and enviro games.
