The Scottish Country Dance Society conducts regular classes in Adamstown and is now offering an introductory course in Scottish social dancing. If you're a beginner, now is the time to give it a go! You don't need to be super fit, have previous dance experience, wear special clothes, or have a dance partner. Also, you definitely don't have to be Scottish or of Scottish descent. You will get the opportunity to dance to exhilarating Scottish music in groups of six to eight people. The movements create flowing patterns to the music, which are very satisfying and enjoyable to dance to. The first week of this six-week course is free, followed by $5 per class.
