A group of people, guided by a woman, observe a tree in a sunlit park. They're on a platform surrounded by greenery, appearing curious.

Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary now offers a new 3 Day Pass, allowing visitors the value and flexibility to spend more time with Australia's most iconic wildlife, by returning for 3 consecutive days at no extra cost.

Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary Assistant Manager Melinda Atkinson said the new pass offers visitors a more relaxed and rewarding experience.

"We know many of our visitors are holidaying in Port Stephens for several days, so this pass gives them the freedom to explore at their own pace," said Ms Atkinson.

"By allowing guests to return over multiple days, we're giving them more chances to have a truly memorable koala sighting. Koalas are most active at different times of the day, so if you don't see them on your first visit, you can simply come back for another look,” she added.

The new pass also makes it easy to experience everything the sanctuary has to offer. Visitors can take a stroll along the Sanctuary Story Walk, get a tree top view from the Sanctuary Skywalk, or watch the dedicated team at work through the Port Stephens Koala Hospital viewing window.

"The flexibility of the pass means you can really make the most of your Port Stephens holiday. Witness koalas during their morning feeding times, spend the afternoon exploring the nearby beaches or bushwalks, and then return for a peaceful stroll along the Skywalk later in the day,” Ms Atkinson said.

“You’ll be able to learn more from our knowledgeable Koala Ambassadors who are on hand to share insights about these precious marsupials and the care they receive here at the Sanctuary,” Ms Atkinson concluded.

Each visit to the sanctuary directly supports vital conservation work and the preservation of Port Stephens' koala population.

Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary is open daily from 9am to 5pm (last entry 4pm) with the new 3 Day Pass available with all ticket purchases. For more information and to book, visit portstephenskoalasanctuary.com.au
