It's been a while in the making but Newcastle's very own Newy Distillery has officially opened their cocktail bar, Newy's Hidden Gem, within their Distillery in Edgeworth! S GARDEN DESSERT HOUSE

If you are after dessert with a difference, this is the spot. S Garden opened late December and serves up deliciously flavoured ice teas, and Asian style cakes such as watermelon, lychee and rose, ricotta and Grand Marnier, plus loads more. Find them at 48 Beaumont St, Hamilton (closed Wednesdays).

If you want to grab a takeaway coffee without getting out of your car, well now you can! The Fast Lane Drive-Thru has now opened at 141–143 Maitland Road, Islington serving all things coffee, light snacks to sandwiches. You can even download their app to pre order. Open 5:30am–4pm Mon to Fri; 6am–2pm Sat; and 7am–1pm Sun.
