Newcastle’s hospitality and tourism industry came together last night to celebrate excellence, innovation and leadership at the Prosperity Advisers 2026 Newcastle Hospitality & Tourism Awards, held at Ravella Newcastle.
Hosted by the Newcastle Tourism Industry Group (NTIG), the awards recognised outstanding businesses and individuals making a significant contribution to the region’s growing visitor economy across 15 award categories, including the newly introduced Student Excellence Awards.
NTIG Chair Dominic May said the evening highlighted the strength, resilience and passion driving Newcastle’s tourism and hospitality sector.
“The calibre of finalists and winners this year has been exceptional. These awards are about recognising the people and businesses who continue to elevate Newcastle as a destination and create memorable experiences for visitors and locals alike,” Mr May said.
The event brought together industry leaders, business owners, sponsors, government representatives and stakeholders to celebrate the achievements of the sector and acknowledge the contribution hospitality and tourism make to Newcastle’s economy and community.
NTIG also acknowledged naming rights sponsor Prosperity Advisers Group, category sponsors and supporters for helping make the awards possible.
