New Entry Date & Prizes for Early Birds!
The Young Business Mind Awards (YBMA) has been at the forefront of fostering entrepreneurial spirit among youth since 2017, offering a platform where their ideas can thrive, building confidence and inspiring future pathways.
For those planning on entering the 2024 awards, the new deadline for entries is Friday, 25 October, but if you want to be in the running to win one of 20 free passes (valued at $250 each) to this year’s Hunter Innovation Festival, you need to get your entries in by Monday, 14 October and be prepared to attend the festival on Thursday, 17 October.
The awards night will be held on Tuesday, 12 November, at the I2N – University of Newcastle Q Building, Honeysuckle, with Ryan Muir, entrepreneur and CEO of RAM Manufacturing, as MC & Guest Speaker. Ryan is a member of the manufacturing committee of Hunter IF, the organisation behind the Hunter Innovation Festival, and is a passionate supporter of youth innovation programs such as YBMA. For educators, there's a special award for those who have significantly enhanced teaching and learning through innovative methods. This award recognises the vital role teachers play in shaping future innovators.
Presented by Career Links, YBMA is more than just an awards program—it encourages educators to nurture innovation within classrooms, supported by tailored resources and curriculum mapping. For more information and instructions on how to enter, visit www.ybma.com.au.
