The celebration of the seasonal festivals is an integral part of education at Linuwel School. The festivities include the whole community and provide a focus for us all on the rhythms within the natural world, within us and within the wider world.
Linuwel School Spring Fair and Open Day is the one day of the year when we proudly open our school to the wider community to share the goodness, beauty and truth that spills out of our classrooms and into the community.
‘It is great to be back, having the community gather to celebrate the school and the warming weather’ says Abigail Sawyer, Linuwel Principal. ‘This year's activities include gourmet food, delicious homemade cakes, great coffee, chai, games, homemade lemonade and more!’
There will be student performances and live music. We have teachers offering talks, workshops, and information sessions on the school. There is also a Steiner bookshop, an exciting raffle, arm painting, handmade toys, craft, plants and fresh produce.
If you feel more adventurous there will also be canoe rides, hobby horse rides and
fun & games in the sideshow alley!
If you feel like creating there will be stalls to ‘make and take home’, with woodworking, cuttings propagation, flower garlands, baking and more!
We are very excited to share this memorable day with you all. Invite your family, friends and neighbours to what promises to be a day of warm-hearted celebration. See you at the Fair!
