Lighthouse Arts Embraces the Elemental

Embracing the elemental nature of its site, Lighthouse Arts Newcastle is pleased to launch Elemental, a new exhibition at Nobbys-Whibayganba Headland.

Elemental—an exploration of the fundamental forces that shape our existence—examines all that is ‘elemental’, including climactic and natural forces, essential natures, emotional landscapes, simplicity, science, cultural symbolism, and environmental perspectives. The exhibition explores this concept through a variety of work across a broad array of artistic disciplines, from writing to sculptures, mixed media, paintings and more.

Featured artists include: Ronald Atilano, Deanne Baker, Kathryn Bennett, Sarah Box, Diana Boyd, Deb Byrnes, Justine Cogan, Alana Cooper, Samantha Cowley, Louella Dent, Deborah Dorahy, Leslie Duffin, Lucy Egan, Sandra Fisher, Paul Foley, Penelope Green, Maybeline Green, Michele Heibel, Steven Jankovic, Mark Liston, Stephen McDonald, Elizabeth Misek, Sue Murray, Emma Nicholson, Melanie Nicholson, Marius O'Shea, Paris Rosemont, Mardi Ryan, Karyn Savage, Lee Seaman, Amber Shipard, Siarn Staley, Kate Teal-Spicer, Lily Thomson, Cedar Whelan, Emma Wilks, Syann Williams, Kirsten Wolf.
