Lakefest 2021

Lakefest on the beautiful Lake Macquarie is now in its sixth year, and consists of nine events. Just south of Newcastle, LakeFest is a festival around all things boating on Lake Macquarie for boating enthusiasts, locals, and families.

Arising out of the highly successful 2013 Heaven Can Wait Charity Sailing Regatta, LakeFest NSW is a much bigger aquatic festival on the lake, promoting sailing, other water-based lake activities and land based events to Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and the Hunter Region.

Lakefest was created by the Royal Motor Yacht Club Toronto, Lake Macquarie Yacht Club, Wangi Amateur Sailing Club, Belmont 16’s and Toronto Rotary Sunrise.
