Presenting the songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Bernstein and other greats in a concert filled with songs that have inspired generations worldwide, the versatility of The Australian Tenors spans all genres of the classical tenor repertoire.
Soloists in their own right, The Australian Tenors have performed extensively with Opera Australia, Australian and International Symphonies and Philharmonic Orchestras. They unite in this wonderful concert with a dynamic display of true Australian talent at PACC (Cessnock) on 22 July, capturing the beauty and vocal demand of the authentic tenor voice.
Audiences will be thrilled by the ever-popular classical arias from the best known Operas, traditional Neapolitan songs such as Funiculi Funicular, and popular tenor tunes from the hit musical theatre productions such as Somewhere from West Side Story, The Impossible Dream, Bring Him Home, and This Is The Moment.
They also perform beautiful duets, including, All I Ask from Phantom of the Opera, Time to Say Goodbye, made famous by (Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman), and Amigos Para Siempre (Friends for Life).
