Are You Pulling My Leg? returns to the road — and to the punchlines — with a laugh-out-loud accessible comedy show at Performance Arts Culture Cessnock (PACC) on Wednesday 15 October. Tickets start at just $30.
This ground-breaking show features award-winning comedians with disability and chronic illnesses, sharing brutally honest, hilarious, and heart-warming perspectives on life, identity, and access.
Since its sold-out premiere at Vivid Ideas in 2022 and a hit national tour in 2024, Are You Pulling My Leg? continues to smash stereotypes and bring disability-led comedy to regional NSW.
Access is centre stage — the show is Auslan interpreted, live captioned, and offers generous wheelchair accessible seating.
“Disabled comedians are just as funny as non-disabled comedians, but they don’t always get equal access to gigs,” says Accessible Arts CEO Liz Martin.
“This show prioritises access for artists and audiences — and celebrates the power of humour to challenge perceptions.”
Audiences can expect sharp wit, bold storytelling, and raucous laughter as these comedians share their real-life experiences in a way that’s as entertaining as it is empowering.
Presented by Accessible Arts and Crips and Creeps in association with Arts on Tour, with support from Create NSW, this show is not to be missed.
