Community Facilities to Commence Reopening


From Friday 15 May and in accordance with New South Wales Government guidelines, outdoor playground and gym equipment across Maitland will reopen.

In addition, personal training sessions and boot camps of up to ten people may use local parks if bookings have been made to ensure social distancing measures are adhered to.

Bookings for Council parks and open spaces can be made via recreation@maitland.nsw.gov.au or by phoning 4934 9700.

Council rangers will patrol local parks to monitor bookings and social distancing.

Any users without bookings will be moved on in an effort keep our community safe during this period and ensure that users with existing bookings have access to the space.

The off leash dog exercise area at Bakers Brickyard Park in Raworth will remain closed while improvement works are completed.
