Music in the Podium kicked off with a bang on the 1st of November and continues throughout December and January with a fantastic lineup of artists that include a special Christmas Carol evening with Central Church on Friday, December 20. Music in the podium has ensured that Friday night's on the Warners Bay Foreshore is a ‘must-do’ activity. What’s on offer throughout the holiday season? Here’s a sneak peek….
Carols with Central Church – 20 DEC 2019 Grab the kids, your funny Christmas hats and your voices and head off to a night of Christmas themed music to sing along to. Presented by Warners Bay Central Church, this will be a family-friendly night that’s sure to ignite your Christmas-spirit for the days following. This is a Grinch-free zone!
Cheshire Grin – 10 JAN 2020 These boys are Warners Bay locals, and regulars at Music in the Podium. They are a diverse rock band with new originals and a list of covers from the 60’s through to current hits. Playing songs from all over the map, you’re sure to love their sound, they stay away from those songs that have been performed to death and look for those quirky forgotten gems and B-sides to keep you dancing. Fave covers? Think Beatles, Hoodo Guris, Living End, Green Day, Queen and Paul Kelly to modern hits from Muse, Elle King, Neon Trees, Kaleo and loads more.
The After Party Trio – 24 JAN 2020 Kick-off your Australia Day weekend with three guys, great music and good fun! In a nutshell, that is The After Party. These men have one goal, and that is to entertain. The trio bring a list of songs representing everything from Pop, Rock, RnB and even Rap, from the 60’s right through to today. Join Luke Brooks, Russel McDonald and Leighton Smith for everything you’re looking for in a fresh new act with all the experience and vibe of a band that have been together forever!
Music in the Podium runs from 6pm until 9pm on Friday evenings. Programs for the full-season are available at the event and from local Warners Bay businesses and event sponsors and can be found in each issue of intouch Magazine (see page 8).
