Lake Macquarie Superboats

Catch all the action with two days of speed and excitement as Round 4, Offshore Superboat Championships returns to Lake Macquarie on October 19th - 20th. This massive weekend is packed full of events to keep you entertained, including the Lake Mac Food and Wine Festival, a show and shine competition, aerobatics, a pop-up bar, plus free watersports.

Where can I see the Boats from? Grab a picnic blanket/chairs and head to Eleebana, Marmong Point or the Warners Bay foreshore this is where you'll find the ticketed VIP marquee). The start and finish line will be at Marmong Point at the end of Nanda Street. The races go for around 20-30mins, running Saturday 1.20pm and Sunday 11am & 1pm.

Warners Bay Markets - Saturday + Sunday

Find the markets at Warners Bay Foreshore both Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October. The markets will be filled with fashion, art, handmade products, food stalls, live entertainment, jumping castles and a live broadcast of the Superboat races. Head there from 9am - 3pm.

Lake Mac Food and Wine Festival - Saturday

Tangerine Events are bringing the vines to you with wine and beer tastings in Speers Point Park on Saturday 19 October. From 12pm - 8pm there will also be cooking demonstrations, an abundance of food offerings and entertainment for all ages.

Free Water Sports - Saturday

Families will havefun trying out the free water sports available over the whole weekend. Head to Marmong Point Sailing Club for a range of fun water activities for all ages on from 10am - 3pm.

Vintage Car Display - Saturday + Sunday

If you're a car enthusiast don't miss the vintage cars, hot rods, classic vehicles and motorbikes on display at the southern end of Warners Bay Foreshore from 7.30am - 3pm on Saturday 19 October. A Show and Shine competition will be on from 7:30am - 3pm in Speers Point Park on Sunday 20 October.

Jet Ski Racing - Saturday + Sunday

Experience the adrenaline and excitement of PWC jet ski racing. Endurance racing will feature on Saturday 19 October from 9.30am - 5pm, and circuit racing will be held on Sunday 20 October from 8.30am - 5pm.
