'Walk With Us' Lifeline World Suicide Prevention Day Walk

Lifeline Hunter Central Coast hosts this event each September to provide an opportunity for our local community to discuss suicide prevention openly and respectfully. As saddening and serious as this topic is to talk about, understanding when, how, why and who should talk about suicide allows for appropriate discussions and for people to learn how to keep a loved one safe.

Join Lifeline at Dixon Park Beach Surf Club on Tuesday September 10th for a gentle yet awareness-raising walk to Merewether Baths and back, at 5.30am for a 6am start. Formalities, a bbq breakfast and community stalls will follow until approximately 8.30am. Registration is free, and donations are welcomed here. Businesses are encouraged to get behind this great cause!
