Established in Newcastle almost 135 years ago, Earp Bros have become synonymous with high quality, beautifully designed tile and stone. Surviving both World Wars and the Great Depression of the 1930’s, the company has continued to adapt and grow, today operating four world class tile showrooms in Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
Five years ago the company set their sights on becoming Australia’s premier supplier of green certified, sustainable tile products. Undergoing an Australian first certification process, the company’s Porcelanosa range of floor and wall tiles were declared Australia’s first and only Global GreenTag certified tiles. The company has since achieved this same certification for use of their tiles as a façade cladding material.
With their sights set on becoming Australia’s most trusted brand name in tile and hard surface products the company has continued to expand and evolve, recently opening their first warehouse clearance outlet in Carrington.

“We have such a diverse history spanning many different industries including coal, timber, automotive, produce and hardware. Most people won’t be aware of this, but we were actually among the first companies to import Model T Ford cars into Australia. Launching the Earp Bros Clearance Centre is a logical next step for us - we are so proud of our rich history and are excited to share the next evolution of our company with our fellow Novocastrians.”
