For Kerry Brownell, style has never been just about clothing; it’s about empowerment. As the founder of Kerry’s Style Sessions, KSS Dress Hire, and her newest venture in hair styling, Kerry has created a multifaceted business dedicated to helping women feel more confident and beautiful.
Kerry’s professional journey began in hospitality before she transitioned to the airline industry as a flight attendant. She later followed her interest in beauty, launching her own business in beauty therapy. Along the way, she discovered not only a passion for fashion but also a natural talent for helping and inspiring others. During this time, Kerry discovered her true purpose: not just to make women look good, but to help them genuinely feel confident in their appearance and themselves.
That philosophy became the cornerstone of Kerry’s Style Sessions. Within her studio, she works with women of all ages, particularly those over 40, navigating menopause, career changes, lifestyle shifts, or rediscovering their identity after raising a family. Her sessions reach far beyond clothing racks. They are about connection. Clients leave with more than just new outfits; they gain knowledge to build a wardrobe that works, save money, shop smarter, and feel more confident! “I believe every woman deserves to feel her best every single day,” Kerry says.
“That might mean discovering the colours that flatter them most, refreshing their wardrobe, or taking them shopping to find their perfect outfit. My goal is to teach women how to dress in ways that flatter their body shape, reflect their personality, and ultimately make them feel great!”
Through workshops and group styling events, Kerry extends her influence further, offering fun and interactive experiences perfect for workplaces, groups of friends, and community groups.
Recognising that hair is just as central to confidence as clothing, Kerry has expanded her services this year with the launch of KSS Hair Styling located within her Warners Bay studio.
