Vinnies CEO Sleep Out 2019 - The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a one-night event over one of the longest and coldest nights of the year. Hundreds of CEOs, business owners as well as community and government leaders sleep outdoors to support the many Australians who are experiencing homelessness. Each CEO Sleepout participant commits to raising thousands of dollars to help Vinnies provide essential services to the people who need them. TSA Management - The TSA Newcastle team held their inaugural Hunter industry insight event recently, which was attended by clients, consultants, contractors and industry partners. The afternoon was made special by raising $5000 to contribute to the Ikara Flinders Ranges Challenge. The challenge of trekking the Ikara-Flinders Ranges is an initiative of the University of Newcastle where participants experience the arid South Australian outback and raise over $100,000 to support Indigenous education, health, research and community initiatives. Mentor Support Network - MSN award scholarships and support to students in financial need as well as training, professional development and networking for mentors. At this recent networking and learning event, speakers Asterie Nsengiyumva and Renata Ninevski. The afternoon began with Asterie describing her experiences as a refugee and was followed by that of Renata, who is the Refugee Support Leader for the Hunter Region, DET.
