Sleepzone Warners Bay has been a locally owned family business for over 19 years. Their team offer customers so much more than friendly service – they also have the knowledge and expertise to assist those who expect more than just the basics in mattresses and bases. Sleepzone Warners Bay is also an NDIS-preferred supplier of adjustable beds – specialising in electric adjustable mobility beds and lift chairs, an area of the industry that is becoming increasingly more important with our ageing population.
Business owners Ian and Karen Millington understand how adjustable beds and lift chairs make a significant difference to the quality of life for clients and service a wide demographic including those with or without disabilities, families, individuals and the elderly.
“We have worked alongside numerous care facilities, not just for NDIS clients – Healthshare NSW, Allambi, Awabakal, Catholic Care, Hammond Care, Calvary Care, Warners Bay Private Hospital and Baptist Care. We work with occupational therapists and care providers to ensure that the client's needs are met in all aspects,” said Karen.
“It feels amazing that we can provide a service that makes such a difference to a person’s quality of life.”
The good news for clients is that an adjustable bed doesn’t have to look like a hospital bed. Karen says there are numerous looks they can provide so that the customer can enjoy all the health benefits without the hospital look.
“We have skirts around the mechanism that make the bed look more like an ensemble base. We also have the options to encase the adjustable bed inside a standard bed frame, and we can attach beautiful fabric bed heads for added aesthetics.”
But adjustable beds are not just for the mature amongst us; they may also assist those suffering from injury, indigestion, restless legs, snoring, asthma, diabetes, hip, knee and ankle pain, reflux, poor circulation, immobility, lower back pain and sciatica.
With a one-stop-shop for all your slumbering-needs, Sleepzone Warners Bay also sell an extensive range of retail bedding, bedroom furniture, wall beds, waterbeds, Manchester and much much more.
“We have so much more than you see displayed in-store. We have numerous supplier catalogues with 100's of lines so we can search and do our absolute best to find the perfect design for our customers,” Karen said.
“Being family-owned, the majority of the time we can deliver at the time to suit the customer, even weekends if that is more suitable for our customer. We pride ourselves on our customer service.”
