Perry Homes Unveils New Hamptons Inspired Display Home

September 17, 2019

Perry Homes has been building award-winning homes for more than 25 years. A trusted builder, they have a well-earned reputation for delivering quality homes that provide exceptional value for money. The future is certainly bright for this solid builder. With new builds on the rise, new land releases coming up throughout the Hunter and Central Coast region, a brand-new display

home in Cameron Park and two further displays planned for January 2020 in Chisholm, 2019 is certainly proving to be a big year!

Perry Homes’ new display home at Cameron Park is a new addition to the Perry Homes’ portfolio and is already proving popular to the market providing potential clients with a prime example of the quality of their homes.

Furthermore, it showcases the on-trend Hamptons design. A firm favourite for a while now and is still gaining momentum with individuals wanting to achieve that welcoming coastal look.
On walking into the home, you will be amazed at the amount of natural light flowing through the home, which is only emphasised by the subtle light-coloured tones and textures used to style and furnish the home.

Featuring raised ceilings throughout, plus an inspired raked ceiling to the open plan living area leading out to a stylish timber pergola really inspires the way this home is fashioned – a beautiful relaxed vibe.

Taking this stylish home as an example, you too can easily achieve this look combining a casual and relaxed feel, cleverly mixed with style and sophistication!

The exterior of the home catches the eye with it's light grey coloured timber cladding and render with white trim highlighting the ornate features of the home and is set off by a quaint white picket fence.

Inside the home, the tone is set the moment you walk through the door with the feature marble island benchtop and weaved pendant lighting visible. With any style you are looking to achieve, the kitchen is the most important room to get right, and this is certainly true for the Hamptons design. This home does it perfectly with its marble-patterned stone benchtops, lush shaker profile kitchen cabinets with dainty metal handles set off against a cool-grey subway tile splashback. Get this room right, and the rest of the home will follow suit.

One thing that really sets the scene in this home is the use of big, bold pendant lights. Look to use these in key locations like your kitchen and dining area. You could even feature drop down pendant lights in your bedroom for bedside lighting. Wicker shades work well and cast a lovely shadow around the room or look at large white dome metal pendants.

Once your home is built with your fixtures and colour choices in place, it’s time to concentrate on furnishings. Soften the stark whites and greys with natural materials such as timber, cane and bamboo. Add some natural fabrics like linen and washed cotton, mixing your colours with your basics being whites, creams and flax. Colours such as blues, charcoals, greens like seafoam or pink work really well. And remember to layer – mix your textures to add depth to your space.

Window furnishings add the final piece to the puzzle. Soft flowing draped curtains make you believe that you are living by the sea, the gentle breeze will create lovely billows or choose stylish plantation shutters or white timber venetians to block out the light.

Lastly, the finishing touches! Nothing says casual seaside living more than some beautiful greenery. Use indoor plants wherever you can to add a splash of colour and achieve that laid-back fresh holiday feel. Pop them in a beautiful natural jute basket and voila – you’ll be amazed at the calming environment you have created. Finish off with some great family photos and perhaps some seaside mementos from your holiday adventures.

Perry Homes’ Hamptons inspired display home is located at 22 Breakwell Road in Cameron Park and is open Friday to Tuesday 10am to 5pm. Or call Noel Simmonds on 0418 169 800 to find out more.
