Charlie's Run 4 Kids is a local running event raising money for kids affected by childhood cancer. Their number one supporter/founder Charlie Carr lost her battle with Neuroblastoma in April 2015 at just 8 years old. Fast forward to 2019, the event is still going strong, with 26 everyday runners making their way from Seal Rocks to Dudley (150km) from September 18–22 – this year supporting Frankie Unger and his family as he undergoes treatment.
You are invited to watch the group run their last leg of the 150km, which will finish at the family fun day at Lydon Oval Dudley 11am–6pm this Sunday, 22nd September. There will be plenty of action with kids rides all day ($10), live bands, merchandise, an auction and raffle, plus food and a licensed bar (cash only). Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy a great day out to support a great cause. Entry is $10 adults, kids free (eftpos available).
