A NEW GENERATION...

August 14, 2018

Established in Newcastle almost 135 years ago, Earp Bros have become synonymous with high quality, beautifully designed tile and stone. Surviving both World Wars and the Great Depression of the 1930’s, the company has continued to adapt and grow, today operating four world class tile showrooms in Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Five years ago the company set their sights on becoming Australia’s premier supplier of green certified, sustainable tile products. Undergoing an Australian first certification process, the company’s Porcelanosa range of floor and wall tiles were declared Australia’s first and only Global GreenTag certified tiles. The company has since achieved this same certification for use of their tiles as a façade cladding material.

With their sights set on becoming Australia’s most trusted brand name in tile and hard surface products the company has continued to expand and evolve, recently opening their first warehouse clearance outlet in Carrington.

Josh Earp, the companies sixth generation and current Marketing Manager explains more.

“We have such a diverse history spanning many different industries including coal, timber, automotive, produce and hardware. Most people won’t be aware of this, but we were actually among the first companies to import Model T Ford cars into Australia. Launching the Earp Bros Clearance Centre is a logical next step for us - we are so proud of our rich history and are excited to share the next evolution of our company with our fellow Novocastrians.”

For design savvy homeowners and renovators, the Earp Bros Clearance Centre couldn’t have come at a better time. Home renovation shows and the rise of social media have allowed discerning buyers to get to know products and suppliers before they even walk into a store. By offering the same quality products from the same trusted brand, the Earp Bros Clearance Centre is an obvious choice when you want to achieve design on a budget.

“Not only are these tiles the most sustainable in the world, the exceptional value their design brings to your space can’t be emphasised enough. Our tiles are designed to last the lifetime of your building, these are products designed to look as good as they do now, far into the future…. with our end of season and run-out ranges now priced to clear! We stand by our products and are more than happy to answer any questions you might have” says Josh.

The Clearance Centre is located in sunny Carrington just down the road from Earp Bros head office. A little off the beaten path, it is only a 5 minute drive from the city centre and is easily accessible from Industrial Drive. In such close proximity to their Parry Street showroom, the location gives you the opportunity to visit both Earp Bros showrooms in a day, ensuring you find everything you need to make your next project just as amazing as you dreamt.

If you are shopping for tiles or stone for your kitchen, bathroom or even outdoors, Earp Bros Clearance Centre will help you meet your budget while ensuring you don’t sacrifice quality or design. The range includes decorative wall tiles, subway tiles, cement encaustic tiles, timber look tiles, floor tiles, slip resistant tiles and natural stone for indoor and outdoor.
