Family Fun at Football 5's!

Apart from being an elite training centre for the regions up and coming footballers, the Lake Macquarie Regional Football facility (LMRFF) is set to become a recreation focal point for the ‘world game’ in the area providing youngsters and their families with unique party experiences and some pretty awesome school holiday activities.

The new facility was completed in February of this year and was a partnership between Northern NSW Football (NNSWF), the NSW Government, NSW Crown Lands (NSWCL), and Lake Macquarie City Council (LMCC), with the NSW Government contributing $7.3m through the Hunter Infrastructure Investment Fund, and Northern NSW football committing $4m to the construction of the $11.3m facility. The facility is home to 2 full-sized synthetic pitches (both FIFA 1-star certified), 12 five-a-side synthetic pitches (currently kept busy hosting Football FIVE5 Leagues), a professional grass field, Sidelines Café and two multi-function seminar rooms. The facility also houses Northern NSW Football’s administration building and staff.

In a new addition the LMRFF now hosts the FOOTBALL FIVES Birthday Party experience! Football FIVE5 delivers a truly unique party experience for young football ‘stars’. On arrival, partygoers enjoy an hour of football fun. Having worked up a healthy appetite, its then into one of the facilities function rooms (fully catered parties only) with friends and family to party-on!

The birthday boy/girl receives an official Football FIVE5 ball and catering is provided by Sidelines Café, with a selection of party food plans available to suit specific needs, dietary requirements, age and numbers in the party group.

Parties can be hard work for parents but Mums and Dads can relax in Sidelines Café and enjoy a complementary drink while the friendly staff look after the football, the food and THE FUN! The packages include a ‘team’ photo, custom invitations, court hire, food and a party host.
