SOUL CAFÉ 2020 CHRISTMAS APPEAL

2020 has been a difficult year for everyone, with many in Newcastle struggling to make ends meet. Equity Economics predicts that in the year to come Newcastle and Lake Macquarie will have the highest levels of unemployment in NSW, at 12.3 %. As a result homelessness could rise by as much as 40% in Newcastle within the next year.

Soul Café Newcastle not only help locals and accept donations all year round, but are holding their 2020 Christmas Hamper Appeal until December 16. All you need to do is put together the available hamper shopping list (tax deductable!) and drop it off at Soul Café by December 16 so they can distribute hampers to Newcastle's most needy over the holiday period.

This is a great chance to create an annual tradition, or get your workplace involved! Visit www.soulcafe.org.au to view the shopping list and drop off times.
