Get ready for Dashville & Great Southern Nights this Weekend!

Updated: Dec 1, 2020

With the warm weekend approaching, what better way than to spend this Saturday night (Nov 28) under the trees in the Hunter Valley watching quality live music and camping? Can’t think of anything else and it’s all happening at Dashville (Lower Belford) as part of the Great Southern Nights initiative.

Multi-award winning country/roots singer-songwriter Shane Nicholson and his band The General Waste will be headlining the night. With three ARIA awards, 10 x Golden Guitars, an APRA award & six critically-acclaimed albums under his belt, you can expect one helluva show when Shane & his band take to the stage.

You'll also find country-rock favourites Kevin Bennett & The Flood performing songs from their five critically-acclaimed albums.

The Golden Guitar winning/ARIA & APRA nominated group never fail to disappoint and we're thrilled "the best Australian country rock band since The Dingoes" (Rhythms) are heading back to the Dashville stage.

Local Alt-pop/rock singer-songwriter Anna Weatherup's style has been compared to early Fleetwood Mac, Lucinda Williams and Alanis Morissette.

Come and hear her perform songs from her forthcoming new album 'Crossing The Sea'.And if that's not enough... Adding to the line-up is local troubadour Rory Ellis.

With eight nationally & internationally acclaimed albums to his name, if you love the likes of Tom Waits and Waylon Jennings then this Americana/Alt-country artist should have you primed for the rest of the night as he kicks off the music.
